Accredify Product Update 2026 Q1
Ready to get started?
We’re starting the new year with some exciting new features! Now, you can enjoy:
- Easier automation so you spend even lesser time issuing VCs
- More customisation functions for verification
Let’s dive in!
New Features
Workflows: Naming Workflow Runs
Now, you can name your Workflows Runs!
This makes it easier to identify Workflow Runs—no more guessing which Workflow Run is for which issuance event—making Nexus even smoother to navigate!
Workflows: Pause Action
Adding Pause Action to Workflow
Include Pause Actions in your Workflows. This is useful for situations where VCs need to be printed and presented before email distribution to recipients—such as graduation ceremonies.
A paused Workflow Run
When a Workflow is triggered, it will be paused at the stage where you have placed the Pause Action in your custom Workflow.
Notification of a paused Workflow Run
At this point, you will be notified that a Workflow has been paused. Here, you can choose to view the Workflow or Resume it at your own time.
Workflow View: List of Workflow Runs that are paused
Before resuming the Workflow Run, paused Workflow Runs will be reflected on the main Workflow view. Here, you can see which Workflow Runs have been paused.
Workflow Run View: Workflow is currently Paused
When clicking into a Paused Workflow, you can see exactly where the Workflow has been paused. If the Pause Action is placed after Issue Document, you can click into each document to check the generated VCs.
Resuming a paused Workflow Run
By clicking on “Resume”, you can trigger the Workflow to complete the process. In this example, the Workflow has been resumed to automatically email the VCs to all recipients.
Workflows: Bulk Download
Bulk downloading VCs from a Workflow
Bulk download issued VCs with one click! When a Workflow is Paused after Issue Document, or after it’s completed, you can click on the “…” menu beside the Workflow Run’s name and click “Download All Files”.
All VCs will be exported in a consolidated ZIP file, ready for printing or any other process you might need to do!
Workflows: Duplicate Validation
Duplicate Validation: Attribute A OR Attribute B
Duplicate Validation: Attribute A AND Attribute B
You can now check for duplication of entries in your Workflow triggers! This will ensure your Workflow Runs are error-free, and your recipients will not be given two of the same VC.
Begin by editing an existing Workflow or creating a new one, and go to the “Settings” tab at the top.
- Toggle on “Duplicate Validation”
- Select which Attributes you want to check for duplication, e.g. Recipient Email
- To check for duplication across multiple Attributes:
- To enforce an OR rule:
- Click on “+ Add Rule” and select the other Attribute you want to prevent duplication for, e.g. Recipient Name
- Your Workflow will flag an error if there are duplications in Recipient Email OR Recipient Name
- Example error: [John], [John] | [a@mail], [a@mail]
- To enforce an AND rule:
- Add the other Attribute into the same row as shown above, e.g. Recipient Name
- Your Workflow will flag an error if there are duplications in [Recipient Email AND Recipient Name]
- Example error: [John, a@mail], [John, a@mail]
- Example of non-error: [John, a@mail], [John, b@mail]
- To enforce an OR rule:
Duplicate Validation error notification
When a Workflow with Duplicate Validation toggled on is run, and there are duplicates flagged as outlined by the rule you have set, an error will be flagged in the notifications. Here, you can click “Review File” to check the duplication errors.
Duplicate Validation error summary
After clicking into “Review File”, you will see a summary of which entries are flagged as duplicates. Click “Download Error Log” to get an excel sheet of duplicate errors flagged for easy removal or updating.
Duplicate Validation Error Log
Within the Error Log, fields that are flagged as duplicates will be marked in red. You can review these issues and decide whether to remove or update the fields.
Workflows & TrustView: Custom “Issued By” Display
For departments within large organisations, you can now also customise the “Issued By” display on TrustView for your department’s VCs.
Under “Settings” for your Workflow, scroll down and toggle on Customise “Issued By” Display. Here, you can input the name of your department. All VCs issued by this Workflow will display this custom “Issued By” name when verified.
If left blank, the field will default to the name of the Group you’re issuing under.
Custom Issued By Display on TrustView
TrustView: Disable Rendering
Taking it one step further from issuing expirable VCs, you can now even prevent the rendering of expired VCs when they are verified on TrustView! If you’re worried about the rendered image of your expired VCs on TrustView being misused, you can now prevent that entirely.
Reach out to your Account Manager if you’d like to toggle this on for your organisation!
Duplication for Workflows, Document, Designs, Email
You no longer have to recreate the same Workflows, Document Template, VC Design, or even Email Template for some minor adjustments (like a different signature or signatory name)—you can now duplicate existing templates!
Click on the “…” menu beside any Workflow, Document, Design, or Email template and select Duplicate. If your Role has the right Permissions, you can also choose which Group to duplicate the template to.
From here, it takes you only seconds to make the necessary updates to signatures, names, or anything else you may need!
There are all the new features to recap for Q1! If there are any features you’d like to see or suggestions for us to improve Nexus, please let us know! Happy issuing, and see you in the next quarter!
