Organised by IMDA and SGTech, the Techblazer Awards is the nation’s highest accolade for tech innovation, honoring companies that have exemplified the spirit of innovation in their use and development of tech products and services.
Singapore’s Central Provident Fund (CPF) and CapitaLand were amongst the winning organisations in this year’s edition of the Techblazer Awards, with previous winners including the likes of Singapore’s Ministry of Manpower, Singapore Airlines, GovTech, NTUC, and Changi Airport Group.
Existing solutions for verification processes have costly, tedious and lengthy backend workflows. In addition, along with the digital era and a rise in deep fake or fraudulent information, a new need has surfaced known as digital trust – a state where any individual, entity, or receiver of information instantly knows that the data they have received can be trusted.
However, there has always been a trade-off between accessibility and security in the process of establishing digital trust – enhanced accessibility meant relaxing security protocols, opening more avenues for malicious actors to obtain sensitive data. With Accredify’s technology, also known as TrustTech, individuals and organizations can access and retrieve important data and documents instantly without compromising on data integrity.
Accredify utilises the blockchain to enable organisations to create and issue instantly verifiable digital documents that are traceable back to the source from a user-friendly dashboard. Every document can be verified with a simple QR code scan or through an online drag-and-drop verifier portal. This automation of document issuance and verification processes has obsoleted traditional authentication workflows.
